6oz Butter
6oz Granulated / Caster Sugar
6oz Self Raising Flour

1Tsp Baking Powder
3 eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
Tin Size: 2 x 7inch tin or 15 cupcakes
Oven Temp: Gas Mark 5 / 190c / 375 F
Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes
1. Cream together the butter and sugar in a bowl
2. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl
3. Gradually whisk the eggs into the creamed butter mixture until smooth
4. Add the vanilla essence and stir
5. Sieve in the flour and baking powder and stir until the mixture forms a smooth dropping like consistency
6. Pour into greased proof tin and bake
7. Once done leave in tin for 5-10 minutes to cool then put on wire rack
